Training

ON-ICE INSTRUCTIONPreparing you for game situations.
Hockey is a game that is played in small areas putting players in different situations in all ends of the rink. Our skill camps utilize game situation drills that mimic the type of scenarios they will be put into during a game. We break down each play and incorporate it into a drill so that they may practice the situation over and over to be ready to handle it come game time.

OFF-ICE STICKHANDLING AND SHOOTINGBe ready when the puck comes to you.
On average a player will have the puck on their stick for one minute in an entire game. That is why we value time away from the ice practicing with a puck or ball to make sure the players are ready to make a play during that crucial few seconds they have the puck in a game. We dedicate time at each one of our camps to stickhandling and to shooting so that players can practice and be comfortable with the puck on their stick. These drills can also be done at home at any time further enhancing comfort in game situations.

OFF-ICE AGILITY AND POWERBuild speed, quickness and strength.
Hockey is a fast-paced sport that requires players to move quickly to get open or break away from their opponent to get to a loose puck. In each one of our clinics we will run players through an off-ice circuit workout designed to build up their power and agility. Each drill was developed over our years of playing and coaching in this great game.
